Local participants are kindly requested to attend at 4.30 p.m. Holy Land time.
The service shall be broadcast live in six languages by various Christian TV channels on the same day at 5 p.m. Holy Land time, or on other dates.

The aim of this initiative is to bring about a great intercessory prayer to God the Father, for our times, from all Christians,beginning in and proceeding from Jerusalem. It is hoped that this initiative will also develop a greater reciprocal awareness and understanding among Christians. Each prayer is held, as far as possible, in the organising Church’s liturgical language. Made accessible by adequate translation, these prayers also seek to express the richness to be found in the various traditions of the Church. The broadcast is freely available to all Christian channels wishing to broadcast it. It is accompanied by a documentary on the hosting Church. Christians in the world are invited to continue to join spiritually, in a communion of prayer, each Saturday at 6 p.m. local time.

Lo scopo di questa iniziativa è di promuovere una grande preghiera di intercessione di tutti i Cristiani a Dio Padre per il nostro tempo, cominciando da Gerusalemme. L’iniziativa mira anche a sviluppare maggiore attenzione e conoscenza reciproca tra i Cristiani. Ogni preghiera si tiene, per quanto possibile, nella lingua liturgica della Chiesa ospitante. Resa accessibile da opportune traduzioni, queste preghiere mirano ad esprimere la ricchezza delle varie tradizioni della Chiesa. La trasmissione televisiva è a libera disposizione di ogni canale televisivo cristiano che desideri trasmetterla. E’ accompagnata da un documentario sulla Chiesa ospitante. I Cristiani nel mondo intero sono chiamati a continuare ad unirsi in una comunione di preghiera ogni sabato alle ore 18, ora locale.

Le but de cette initiative est de promouvoir une grande prière d’intercession de tous les Chrétiens à Dieu le Père pour notre temps, en commençant par Jérusalem. L’initiative vise aussi à développer une meilleure connaissance réciproque entre les Chrétiens. Chaque prière se tient, dans toute la mesure du possible, dans la langue de l’Eglise hôte. Rendue accessible par une traduction simultanée, ces prières visent aussi à exprimer la richesse des diverses traditions de l’Eglise. La transmission télévisée est à la libre disposition de toutes les chaines chrétiennes qui désirent la transmettre. Elle est accompagnée d’un documentaire sur l’Eglise hôte. Les Chrétiens du monde entier sont appelés à continuer à s’unir en une communion de prière chaque samedi à 18 h locales.

Seventh Extraordinary Prayer of all Churches to be held at the Coptic Orthodox Church in Jerusalem
ON JANUARY 28, 2012, CHRISTIANS ARE INVITED TO JOIN AGAIN IN A GREAT INTERCESSORY PRAYER FOR OUR TIME, TO BE HELD AT THE COPTIC ORTHODOX CHURCH OF ST. ANTHONY, CLOSE TO THE HOLY SEPULCHRE IN JERUSALEM
With Our Lord’s help, on January 28, 2012, at 5 pm Holy Land time, all Churches will join again via a four continent live broadcast by Christian channels in a great intercessory prayer for Reconciliation, Unity and Peace for our time, beginning from Jerusalem.
In a spirit of communion, the seventh Extraordinary Prayer of all Churches for Reconciliation, Unity and Peace coincides, as in January 2011, with the Jerusalem Week of Prayer for Unity. It also coincides with the start of the 4th International Intercessory Prayer Day for Peace in the Holy Land, an initiative that gathers prayer groups in over two thousands cities all over the world and is patronized by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace. The Catholic Church, promoter of the latter initiative, chooses with this coincidence to be in communion of prayer with all the participating Churches.
In these times of change, more than ever, it is urgent and necessary to ask for Our Lord’s Mercy. May He, insistently requested to do so, touch our hearts and inspire in them the irresistible desire to convert and to renew our faith, to reconciliate, to unite, and to live in the interior Peace of Christ, both as single Christians and as Christian Churches.
The Coptic Orthodox Church, who has often and also recently given witness of her profound faith in Jesus Christ, up to martyrdom, will propose a simple and very intense celebration, reflecting her rich and profound tradition.
May the intense call of the Church to Our Lord and Father be heard! May He bless His sons and daughters, those who hear the Word, those who listen to the Spirit of Life.

A Dio piacendo, il 28 gennaio 2012, alle ore 17 di Terra Santa, tutte le Chiese si uniranno di nuovo in una grande preghiera di intercessione per il nostro tempo per la Riconciliazione, l'Unità e la Pace, cominciando da Gerusalemme. Essa verrà diffusa in diretta televisiva da diversi canali cristiani su quattro continenti.
Come già nel gennaio 2011, in uno spirito di comunione, la settima Preghiera straordinaria di tutte le Chiese per la Riconciliazione, l'Unità e la Pace coinciderà con la settimana di preghiera per l'unità a Gerusalemme. Essa coinciderà pure con l’inizio della 4. Giornata Internazionale di Intercessione per la Pace in Terra Santa, una iniziativa che coinvolge gruppi di preghiera in oltre duemila città in tutto il mondo, in contemporanea, ed è patrocinata dal Pontificio Consiglio Giustizia e Pace. LaChiesa Cattolica, iniziatrice di questa ultima iniziativa, si mette, con questa scelta di coincidenza, in comunione di preghiera con tutte le Chiese partecipanti.
In tempi di cambiamenti, più che mai, è urgente e necessario invocare la misericordia del Signore sull’umanità. Voglia Esso, insistentemente richiesto, toccare i cuori e suscitare in loro il desiderio irresistibile di conversione, di rinnovamento della propria fede, di riconciliazione, di unità, e di una vita vissuta nella pace interiore di Cristo - sia come singoli cristiani, che come chiese Cristiane.
La Chiesa copta ortodossa, che ha spesso e anche recentemente dato testimonianza della sua profonda fede in Gesù Cristo, finoal martirio, proporrà una celebrazione semplice e molto intensa, riflesso della sua profonda e ricchissima tradizione.
Possa essere ascoltata l’intensa preghiera della Chiesa al Signore e Padre! Possa Il Signore benedire i Suoi figli e figlie, quelli che hanno udito il Verbo, quelli che ascoltano lo Spirito di Vita.

Avec l'aide du Seigneur, le 28 janvier 2012, à 17 heures de Terre Sainte, toutes les Eglises se réunirons de nouveau en unegrande prière d'intercession pour notre temps, pour la Réconciliation, l'Unité et la Paix, en commençant par Jérusalem. La prière sera diffusée en direct dans quatre continents per diverses chaînes de télévision chrétiennes.
Dans un esprit de communion, la septième prière extraordinaire de toutes les Eglises pour la Réconciliation, l'Unité et la Paixcoïncide, comme en Janvier 2011, avec la semaine de prière pour l'unité à Jérusalem. Elle coïncidera aussi avec le début de la4ème Journée Internationale d’Intercession en Terre Sainte, une initiative qui réunit des groupes de prière dans plus de 2000 villes dans le monde entier, avec le patronage du Conseil Pontifical Justice et Paix. L’Eglise Catholique, initiatrice de cette dernière initiative, se met, par le choix de cette coïncidence, en communion de prière avec toutes les Eglises participantes.
En cette période de changements, plus que jamais, il est urgent et nécessaire d’invoquer la Miséricorde du Seigneur sur notre monde. Qu’il veuille – sur notre requête insistante – toucher les cœurs et inspirer en eux le désir irrésistible de conversion, derenouvellement de la foi, de réconciliation, d’unité, et d’une vie vécue dans la paix intérieure du Christ, à la fois comme Chrétiens et comme Eglises.
L'Eglise copte orthodoxe, qui a souvent et encore récemment donné le témoignage de sa foi profonde en Jésus-Christ, jusqu'au martyre, proposera une célébration simple et très intense, reflétant sa profonde et très riche tradition.
Puisse la prière intense de l'Eglise à Notre Seigneur et Père être entendue! Puissent Ses fils et Ses filles être bénis, ceux qui ont entendu la Parole, ceux qui écoutent l'Esprit de Vie.

AM 28. JANUAR 2012 SIND DIE CHRISTEN EINGELADEN, AN EINER GROSSEN FÜRBITTE FÜR UNSERE ZEITTEILZUNEHMEN, DIE IN DER ST. ANTHONY KIRCHE IN DER NÄHE DER GRABESKIRCHE IN JERUSALEM GEHALTEN WIRD
Mit Hilfe unsers Herrn werden die Christen am 28. Januar 2012, um 17.00 Uhr Heilig Land Zeit, sich wieder zusammenfinden, umein großes Fürbittegebet um Versöhnung, Einheit und Frieden für unsere Zeit, ausgehend von Jerusalem, zu halten. Es wird auf vier Kontinente von verschiedenen Christlichen Sender übertragen werden.
Als Zeichen der Gemeinschaft fällt dieses siebte Außerordentliche Gebet aller Kirchen für Versöhnung, Einheit und Frieden, wieim Januar 2011, mit der Gebetswoche für die Einheit in Jerusalem zusammen. Sie deckt sich auch mit dem 4. Internationalen Fürbittegebetstag im Heiligen Land, eine Initiative, die unter dem Patronat des Päpstlichen Pontifikalrats Gebetsgruppen aus über 2000 Städten vereinigt. Die katholische Kirche, die am Ursprung dieses Gebetes ist, bezeugt damit ihre tiefe Verbundenheit im Gebet mit den andern teilnehmenden Kirchen.
In Zeiten des Wandels ist es dringlicher denn je, Gottes Barmherzigkeit zu erflehen. Möge Er, wenn wir eindringlich darum bitten, die Herzen berühren und begeistern und in ihnen den unwiderstehlichen Wunsch wecken, umzukehren, ihren Glauben zu erneuern, sich in Einheit zu versöhnen und im inneren Frieden Christi zu leben, sowohl als einzelner Christ wie auch als christliche Kirchen. Die koptisch-orthodoxe Kirche, die oft und vor kurzem wieder Zeugnis ihres tiefen Glaubens an Jesus Christus abgegeben hat und dies bis zum Martyrium, bereitet eine einfache und sehr intensive Feier vor. Sie ist Ausdruck ihrer verwurzelten und sehr reichen Tradition.
Möge das Flehen der Kirche zu ihrem Herrn und Vater gehört werden! Er segne seine Söhne und Töchter, die hören auf das Wort, die den Geist des Lebens wahrnehmen.

EL 28 DE ENERO DE 2012, LOS CRISTIANOS ESTÁN INVITADOS A UNIRSE A LA PLEGARIA DE INTERCESIÓN POR NUESTRO TIEMPO, CELEBRADA EN LA IGLESIA ORTODOXA DE ST. ANTHONY, CERCA DEL SANTO SEPULCRO DE JERUSALÉN
Con la ayuda de Nuestro Señor, el 28 de enero de 2012, a las 5 de la tarde, tiempo de Tierra Santa, los cristianos se unirán nuevamente por medio de la transmisión en vivo de la plegaria de intercesión por la reconciliación, la unidad y la paz comenzando desde y para Jerusalén. La plegaria será retransmitida en directo en los cuatros continentes por varias cadenas de televisiones cristianas.
En un espíritu de comunión, la séptima plegaria extraordinaria para la reconciliación, la unidad y la paz coincide, como el pasado mes de enero 2011, con la semana de oración para la unidad en Jerusalén. Coincide también con el inicio del 4to Día Internacional de intercesión en Tierra Santa, una iniciativa que reúne grupos de oración en más de 2000 ciudades en el mundo entero, con el apoyo del Consejo Pontifical Justicia y Paz. La Iglesia Católica que empuja esta ultima iniciativa subraya por esta coincidencia su comunión con todas las Iglesias que participan a la plegaria.
En tiempos de cambios más que nunca es urgente y necesario pedir la misericordia de Nuestro Señor para con nuestro mundo. Que se solicite con insistencia de Él que toque los corazones humanos y inspire en ellos el deseo irresistible de conversión y para renovar la fe, la unidad y vivir la paz interior de Cristo, tanto como cristianos individuales así como Iglesias cristianas.
La Iglesia Ortodoxa Copta, que dio y sigue dando testimonio de su fe viva en Jesucristo hasta el martirio, propondrá una celebración sencilla y muy intensa, conforme a su profunda y rica tradición.
Escuchad la llamada de la Iglesia de Nuestro Señor y Padre! Que Él bendiga sus hijos e hijas, los que oyen y escuchan la Palabra que reciban también el Espíritu de Vida !

في وقت التغيير الحالي، وأكثر من أي وقت مضى، هناك ضرورة ملحّة لطلب الرحمة من الرب، حتى يعمل - بإصرارٍ طلبنا – على لمس القلوب وإلهام النفوس بالإرتداد والتجدّد بالإيمان، والمصالحة، والوحدة والعيش بسلام داخلي مع المسيح، سواء كأفراد مسيحيين أو ككنائس مسيحية. طوبى لصانعي السلام الرب!
تقترح الكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية، التي كانت وما زالت تشهد على عمق إيمانها بالمسيح يسوع لدرجة الاستشهاد، احتفالبسيط ومكثف، يعكس عمق وغنى تراثها.
ليكن نداء الكنيسة إلى الله الآب مسموع! وليتبارك أبناء الكنيسة الذين يسمعون كلمة الله الحي ويستعدون لإلهامات الروح الحي!
